Big Eyes
Last week we watched a great movie, named' Big Eyes'. it is based on a real story about a woman who has the strength but the personality is to strive for personal rights and freedom. From the very beginning, the protagonist Margaret in the control of the man, she took her daughter and a pile of paintings drove to flee. May in the sixties of the last century, a woman to do so requires courage. It also shows that she was not a good communication. She was married again with a liar. The man took a fancy to her painting talent, and he took it as his own.The heroine often draws big eyes of the doll, so it becomes a sign of her. But her husband took up her position. They had a lot of money, and the heroine was only at home every day to paint, even her daughter did not know. It was until ten years later that the heroine had come to her senses, and she took her daughter to escape again, and accused her of her husband's crimes. The final outcome is good.

Although I have been very angry with her husband in the process of watching the movie. But there is no denying that her work is likely to be neglected without her husband's sales, and she may not be so famous. In my opinion, people can not easily compromise in particular about their rights,Especially as an artist~

Ted Talk:Building the Seed Cathedral
British designer Heatherwick Thomas has always been known for its odd ideas. For design of Shanghai World Expo UK Pavilion he aches in full 60000 root hollow, and each part had different kinds of seeds. Such design, the British Museum has become a spectacular 'seed cathedral'.
How do you think the connection between aesthetic design and eco-friendly implications can change architecture and the world?
Absolutely, it can beautify the environment around us and more to ensure our future. Creating an eco-friendly home can start small, with just a few easy steps. When thousands of people do some actions, you may be surprised to learn that saving the planet can also save our life!
What kinds of things can you do in your own life that can help cities become more eco-friendly and more sustainable?
Green, sustainable, energy-efficient...there are so many ways to say “eco-friendly” that it can feel overwhelming to consider making some environmentally friendly changes. I will choose the most simple way to support this thing - walking. This not only can make my health and the health of our planet! It is very important~

Maker
Last Thursday, we saw a movie called maker. This film tells the story of a group of people who have a passion for technology and love to practice. They believe that their hands can create evrything. These makers are good at digging new technologies, encouraging innovation and prototyping. They are more than just thinking and they have their own work. One of the maker in the film impressed me very much. It was a 12 years old girl named Todd Sylvia.
“I want more people to become less focused on success, and more on just trying new things outside their comfort zone.”
Sylvia's interest in mini-science projects was sparked by Maker Faire in San Mateo Sylvia's, Calif. When she was only 5. So two years ago her father film some of her experiments for Youtube.
For a maker, no matter where you are, as long as you are willing to make use of existing resources, you can become a real maker!

Ai weiwei: student names list
Before watching the movie today, in my mind, I think Ai weiwei is a very radical person. He has always claimed to be an independent artist. In fact, I have not been very good impression of him, probably because I am not able to understand the avant-garde art and what he did some things. However, In the movie, it recorded some of his work, and the student's name list let me move and produce some thinking. This thing is about Sichuan earthquake in 2008. There are many students died in this earthquake, so Ai weiwei hopes to list all the dead students name, age and native, and he called more volunteers to join them to do this. He repeatedly stressed that he would like to know how many of the failed projects in the school? In my opinion, I do not like him, but in this matter, he did do the Chinese government should do. I think that including his process of doing this is quite tortuous. He wants to do a free speech and to know the people of the motherland. Even though he knows it's hard now. But this is China, which is indeed the status quo in China, but the Chinese government may have more considerations. Personally, From this matter, I like his ideas and thinking, and I think it is not art, this is just one thing, Ai do, and I think it is very meaningful one thing.

Art review: restlessness
I am very like this piece very much, This work is mainly expressed in her struggle with the tension. It means that this is a battle about herself. She used the red ball in the middle to represent her nervousness, and she also used the blue lines to represent the calm. Accroding to her, she tried to control her nervousness. It is quite interesting. In my opinion, she is very good to show her personal feelings and process of her thinking to readers. Personally, perhaps the finished work are not very mature, but her ideals were enough to prove herself!

Finding ways to lose yourself, and other adventures:Yves Klein
Today we have a lecture about'Finding ways to lose yourself , and other adventures' Through this lecture ,I know that you should get lost and do some brave things to find a new yourself. You just need go out and enjoy the wandering, journey or field trip. Do not stay in a stable situation, you can get more methods, techniques, new treasures, personal language and inspiration. When you go back home, you well have a lot memory to mature and evolue.
How will you go about finding that thing the nature of which is totally unknowed to you?
In this lecture, there is a picture that impressed me. It named 'Le Saut dans le vide(Leap into the void) . I thought immediately of this iconic image of Yves Klein — whose first grand artistic gesture was to sign the sky — leaping into it. In this work , you can see shunk and kender photographed the street with and without the cyclist in the background . Then they snapped Klein diving off a wall onto a stack of cushions and combined the two images . I imagine Klein’s leap whenever I remember looking out from my Paris balcony to the sky over Rue Mouffetard. It was originally published in the artist’s book Dimanche, which apparently shows him jumping off a wall, arms outstretched, towards the pavement. Klein used the photograph as evidence of his ability to undertake unaided lunar travel. I think this work is very good interpretation of the brave move your feet and thinking, you will have unexpected discovery . In my opinion , It is like a serendipity . I mean that you can get some good luck in making unexpected . It's a good response to the subject of this lecture.
